A.O. Smith’s commercial-grade ProLine selection of electric water heaters now includes three small-scale heaters specifically designed for low-demand, point-of-use applications, including office lavatories, handwashing stations, and RVs.

The ProLine Specialty Point-of-Use Electric Water Heater series is available in 2.5-gallon, 4-gallon, and 6-gallon models. Each one is equipped with a low-watt density copper heating element, a tamper-resistant brass drain valve, a glass-coated tank, and an aluminum-anode rod for corrosion protection.

“Our ProLine Specialty Electric Water Heater family covers a wider range of point-of-use applications with fewer models, enabling distributors and contractors to provide unmatched value for end-users,” says David Chisolm, vice president of marketing at A. O. Smith. “The compact design of our Point-of-Use series is good for creating extra counter space and providing hot water and temperature control in remote locations.”

The 2.5-gallon and 4-gallon models operate on standard 110/120V three-pronged plugs, while the 6-gallon model requires hard-wiring. The heaters feature side-mounted plumbing and electrical connections, with an option for top-mounted water connections. hotwater.com
