With the holiday season in full swing, it’s a great time to journey through the impressive list of the generous builders who have been recognized with the Hearthstone BUILDER Humanitarian Award. The program is celebrating 17 years and has provided more than $5.5 million to charities selected by the winners, making it the largest philanthropic award in the industry.

Deadline for nominations for the 2017 award is Friday, Jan. 6. Click here for more information and to download the nomination form.

As Charles Dickens said –“A day wasted on others is not wasted on one's self” – and these builders truly epitomize that mentality. A look back at the legacy of the Hearthstone Award is a heartwarming experience.
