The International Builders' Show (IBS) and Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) are closer now than ever, and the industry's product manufacturers are gearing up with announcements and previews. Here are ten more products that you can find on display from January 9th-11th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.:

Kichler - Booth W5942

Kichler launched two decorative lighting collections for IBS 2018: the Flagship (pictured) and the Wayland. The Flagship’s nautical-inspired look comes in two-, three-, and four-light configurations, as well as a sconce. It is available in a classic pewter finish. The Wayland outdoor light’s all-metal housing is offered in a weathered zinc finish, while a corrugated back plate with a galvanized steel finish helps project the fixture’s light. Three sizes and a flush mount are available.

Thor Kitchen - Booth S4480

Thor Kitchen enters the kitchen appliance market with a professional-style, “mass-premium” kitchen suite. The 30-inch gas range, under-cabinet range hood, 36-inch French door refrigerator, and 24-inch stainless steel dishwasher retail for less than the price of one premium range—under $5,000 altogether. Each appliance is built to the highest standards of style and performance, according to the manufacturer.

Top Knobs - Booth W1355

Top Knobs’ latest decorative hardware collection is inspired by the minimalistic shapes and clean lines of midcentury modern design. The Lynwood collection includes 306 pieces in seven series, including knobs, pulls, cup pulls, two appliance pulls, and open-backed rectangular backplates. Finish options include aged gray, flat black, brushed satin nickel, honey bronze, polished chrome, and polished nickel.

RIDGID - Booth W6786

The newly upgraded 7-inch Table Top Wet Tile Saw cuts through ceramic, glass, porcelain, pavers, and stone tile up to 12 inches in length at a maximum of 3,450 RPM. Its larger fence surface area allows it to cut larger tiles with greater surface areas than the previous model. The saw features an upgraded anti-splash system that keeps the surrounding work area completely dry, and its compact size and design allows users to transport it easily from jobsite to jobsite.

Marvin Windows and Doors - Booth W2529

The Lock Status Sensor provides smart home capabilities for Marvin’s windows and doors. The sensor is compatible with both wired and wireless connections, and indicates whether a panel or sash is closed, open, locked, or unlocked. Windows and doors that contain the sensor are factory-prepped, eliminating the need to drill into a new window to install a sensor on-site. In addition, the device does not have any visible components once installed.

DuPont Tyvek - Booth W4071

The newest addition to the FlexWrap flashing series is the DuPont FlexWrap EZ. The flexible, 100% butyl adhesive flashing forms an air- and water-tight seal around small home penetrations and protrusions, including plumbing, HVAC, vents, and gas lines. The adhesive is designed to withstand up to 270 days of UV exposure, and will perform even in extreme temperatures, the firm says. It is available in 2 ¾–inch-by-15-foot rolls.

OLFA - Booth S534

OLFA’s X-Design Pro Series of utility knives and cutting tools features a fiberglass-reinforced body with a soft-grip, anti-slip rubber handle. The product’s shape contours to the user’s hand, reducing wrist fatigue, the company says. The series’ Ultra-Sharp Black Premium blades are double-honed to be 25% sharper than standard silver blades, according to the manufacturer. Each 18mm blade contains eight cutting edges, which snap off easily for a fresh edge.

CertainTeed - Booth W3629

CertainTeed’s new ICON thermoset polyurethane composite cladding is engineered for superior moisture resistance, flexibility, and ease of installation, the firm says. A single installer can cut and carry several 16-foot planks at once and install each plank without flashing or caulking, reducing time and labor compared with typical siding installations. The panels are primed for paint with a cedar-look finish. A hidden fastener system removes visible nail heads.

Hardware Resources - Booth W1355

Hardware Resources’ soft-close Mixer/Appliance Lift allows homeowners to store mixers, blenders, or food processors out of sight when not in use, and to easily raise them to counter level when they are needed. The spring-loaded chrome lift system allows the device to lift and support small appliances up to 45 pounds in weight—about twice the weight of a stand mixer. The appliance is compatible with frameless or frame-face base cabinetry.

Royal Building Products - Booth S625, W3480

Royal Building Products is expanding its Conceal Trim system with Conceal Column Wraps, a matching trim solution for homes with exterior columns. The 100% cellular PVC wraps are packaged in a “clam shell” design, with three pre-assembled sides that surround the existing post and a fourth, separate side to close the column. The wraps can be painted, and they do not rot, warp, or split, the company says. They are available in four widths and two lengths.
