As lighting systems become more complex and jobsite conditions less predictable, Lutron Electronics is introducing a new line of dimmers designed to help contractors avoid compatibility headaches and reduce costly return trips. The company’s LED+ Pro Max lineup expands load compatibility and wattage capacity, giving installers a single solution for a wider range of residential lighting applications.
“At Lutron, every product we introduce is designed to solve real challenges and make day-to-day work easier,” says Zach Schroeck, director of product management. “With the new Lutron LED+ dimmers Pro Max line, we’re giving installers a more capable, problem-solving dimmer for jobs where load type and wattage are not always clear upfront. Pros can confidently keep these dimmers in their truck as a go-to problem solving solution, helping them get it right the first time, avoid unnecessary disruptions, and keep the job moving.”
Anchored by the new Diva Dimmer LED+ Pro Max pictured above, the lineup is designed to handle many of today’s common lighting loads, including integrated LEDs, ELV tape lighting, MLV track lighting, outdoor lighting, and incandescent and halogen fixtures. The dimmer features phase-selectable technology that allows electricians to switch between forward and reverse phase during installation, helping resolve issues such as flickering and audible noise across different fixture types.
A companion Diva Dimmer LED+ Pro model offers the same load versatility with lower wattage ratings for standard applications, while Maestro LED+ Pro Max and Sunnata LED+ Pro Max options provide additional control and aesthetic choices for homeowners and builders. The Maestro model supports multi-location dimming, while the Sunnata model features a modern touch light bar design.
Available in updated packaging for easier identification on store shelves and online, the LED+ Pro Max line will be available through electrical distributors and on HomeDepot.com beginning in August, with in-store availability slated for September.
