Sales of new homes in the Ann Arbor, MI market slid in January, dropping after an increase in January 2010. New home sales moved from 20 a year earlier to two after being 15 in January 2009. New home sales were two of 13 total sales, up on a percentage basis from 20 of 313 a year earlier.

Average Price of New Homes Swung to Increase in January 2011

The average new home price was $203,000 in January 2011, up from $188,208 a year earlier after the price was $227,408 in January 2009.
