Sierra Pacific’s new Westchester Double Hung window series combines a traditional double-hung aesthetic with high-performance thermal construction for commercial and residential applications. The windows are designed to achieve the narrowest check rail sightline in the high-end window market, according to the manufacturer, and features historically accurate sash properties for projects with historic requirements.
The Westchester Double Hung offers a performance rating of PG50 on most standard sizes. It delivers a U-value of 0.28 when fitted with dual-insulated Lo-E 366 and argon glass, or a U-value of 0.17 with triple-insulated glass. All windows feature a thermally broken sash construction, integral aluminum nail fin, multi-point tilt latch, and a patent-pending, traditional-style combination sash lock, sill end caps, and drainage system.
The window design comes standard with constant force balances; an optional Class 5 Hybrid Spiral Balance is available for sashes up to 140 pounds. Windows can be specified in sizes of up to 60 by 108 inches for 1 ¾-inch sashes. sierrapacificwindows.com
