Pella has upgraded its warranty on wood windows and wood patio doors to include limited lifetime coverage.

“We’ve helped lessen some of the apprehension customers can feel when purchasing wood windows and wood patio doors and simplified the warranty process by aligning this new warranty more closely with our other products, including vinyl and fiberglass,” says Matt Kiernan, director of innovation for Pella.

Homeowners who purchase new wood windows or patio doors for their personal home will have lifetime coverage on various components of their newly installed products for as long as they own and occupy their home. The components include wood deterioration, exterior aluminum cladding paint crack or peel in non-seacoast environments, and nonlaminated insulating glass.

“Pella’s products and processes are continuing to evolve, and this new warranty is just one part of how we are better serving our customers,” adds Kiernan. “We’ve seen a strong history of performance in the field with our wood windows and patio doors; It was that continued confidence and proven design that allowed us to move forward with this new warranty.”
