Alside has introduced two new vinyl window series, the 1700 and 1900 New Construction Vinyl Window Collections, made specifically to meet the compliance and performance needs of the nation’s single-family and multifamily home builders.
The 1700 Series single-hung windows and the 1900 Series single- and double-hung windows are made of fusion-welded vinyl. The 1700 Series features a bevel frame design, while the 1900-series has an integral brickmould J-channel and an optional 3 1/2 inch flat casing with a bullnose sill.
Both models feature a standard vent lock for ventilation, and the integral nailing flange and reinforced meeting rail enhance their structural performance. The durable block and tackle balances are made to stand up to construction site debris and to harsh weather. A metal cam-style lock and adjustable keeper provides increased security, while interior glazed fixed lites allow easy glass replacement from inside the building. The window’s sloped sill eases water management and creates a contemporary silhouette.
Alside’s insulated glass package options combine Low-E glass with a u-channel warm-edge spacer system, which serves to create a thermal barrier. All Alside windows are able to meet ENERGY STAR requirements with the right glass package.
The windows are available in ten colors, applied with a polyurethane coating technology with heat-reflecting pigments. Various grid profiles and a number of window styles and configurations are available, including sliders, special-shaped windows, and patio doors. alside.com
