The Tapplock enterprise platform, new from IoT startup Tapplock, serves as a business-scale control platform for the Tapplock one+ smart fingerprint padlock. Using this platform, teams of all sizes can control multiple locks from one account, and set a variety of access privileges, including custom permissions or dedicated access groups.
Users can view all of the locks networked to one enterprise platform across a map, and deploy and revoke fingerprints remotely. The service’s audit reports allow employers to track activity from every account, and view timestamps for each unlock or lock actions, Mobile notifications may also be set for account events.
The Tapplock one+ padlocks may be unlocked through the fingerprint scanner, a Bluetooth unlock key via the Tapplock app, or a Morse Code combination. It features a 7mm reinforced stainless-steel shackle, a double-layered lock design, and anti-shim and anti-pry technology. The scanner can store up to 500 fingerprints at one time, and incorporates 128-bit data encryption, among additional security protocols. The device is dust-proof, rust-proof, IP67 water-proof, and functions between -4 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The battery will last for up to a year on a single two-hour charge, or 3,500 unlocks per charge, and blinks red when its power falls below 10%. The lock is available in Sterling Silver, Gun Metal, or Midnight Black. tapplock.com
