Fall protection equipment manufacturer Pure Safety Group has introduced a new full body harness, the Checkmate Xplorer, to the U.S. market.
The Xplorer’s hardware is designed to be ergonomically suited to its functions, providing reduced wear on the harness webbing, easier connections, and pivot points for a greater range of motion while in use. The harness’s limited slip dorsal D-ring is built with a precise amount of vertical adjustment, and designed to stay in place after multiple loadings. The large front ring supports multiple attachments, and the final connection is secured by a lightweight aluminum quick connect buckle.
New comfort features include curved webbing that follows the contours of the body, and a sub-pelvic assembly that provides increased support, according to the manufacturer. New visual alert stitching provides an intuitive way for users to understand how to wear the harness. puresafetygroup.com
