Las Vegas—SURFACES, the annual floor-covering show, and StonExpo/Marmomacc, the largest international stone show in the U.S., are known as events for all things stone and for anything that covers the floor, including traditional ceramic tiles, carpeting, and wood. But the annual three-day event is also a showcase for products that inject bolts of color and texture into the mix.

In addition to highly attractive (though predictable) stone and marble, the show offered mixed-media mosaics of granite, marble, glass, and metal; large-format and textured glass field tiles; and boldly colored recycled-content ceramic.

Crossville introduced the Color by Numbers wall tile collection featuring coordinating paint colors from Benjamin Moore’s Aura paint line. Voguebay showed large glass wall tiles in various patterns and textures. And Pera Tile showed Centura, a new collection of decorative stone mosaics with genuine gold leaf engraving.

Here are some of the notable offerings from day two of the show.
