Fireplace manufacturer Ortal has unveiled a new product offering named Oval.
Designed as a statement piece, the new steel-sculpted product is intended to reimagine traditional fireplace design with a modern twist.
Offered in a 47-inch model, with additional sizes expected, Oval can be fully suspended or wall-mounted, delivering versatility and seamless integration into contemporary environments.
“With Oval, we’re giving architects, designers, and users new creative possibilities to shape and define spaces through sculptural elements. This move also strongly aligns with the growing embrace toward incorporating more organic, soft shapes and curves into modern interiors and architecture,” says Elizabeth Margles, CEO of Ortal North America. “Whether fully suspended or mounted as a dramatic visual anchor, Oval enhances interiors with both functionality and style.”
The Oval fireplace is powered by Ortal’s Direct Vent technology, a sealed system that aims for cleaner, safer, and more efficient heating while maintaining good indoor air quality, while Ortal’s smart Heat Control system allows heat to be transferred to different rooms for optimal comfort and efficiency.
Additionally, Ortal’s advanced Power Vent system enables installation in previously restrictive areas by moving exhaust away from the fireplace for increased venting range.
