More than 350 manufacturers, suppliers, and other exhibitors are set to showcase their newest products, offerings, and innovations this week at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC), one of the West Coast's largest residential-focused trade shows. The conference will be held from June 27 to June 28 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Sponsored by the California Building Industry Association (CBIA), the conference attracts over 10,000 industry professionals each year from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other countries.
Below are eight of the many manufacturers attendees can expect to see on the exhibitors’ floor, and the new product offerings that they will have on display:
Masonite
Masonite is introducing three new decorative glass styles for its interior and exterior doors: Double-Water, Cruz, and Focus. Each of the styles is designed to complement a different growing and emerging trend in whole-home aesthetics.
Double-Water, shown here, is made to evoke the waves of the Mediterranean in keeping with Mediterranean Luxe style, with rich textures that provide privacy and allow natural light through. Cruz’s sleek, opaque glass and clean lines are meant to complement urban aesthetics, and the Focus, a mixture of frosted and clear glass, is made to complement Modern Farmhouse design. masonite.com
Icynene-Lapolla
The Icynene ProSeal HFO closed cell spray polyurethane foam insulation is the first Icynene spray foam insulation to incorporate an HFO blowing agent – in this case, Honeywell’s Solstice agent. This addition increases the energy-efficiency of the whole building system and reduces the insulation’s global warming impact, according to the manufacturer.
The high-density, two-pound spray foam fully adheres in place with most substrates. It serves as an air, moisture, and thermal barrier, reducing the need to apply additional products. Taken together, this barrier reduce a building’s energy consumption by up to 40%. The product line includes formulations for use across all climate zones and temperatures, meets all building codes, and meets FEMA requirements for flood resistant building materials. icynene.com
Schluter Systems
The new STYLE shower grate collection by Schluter Systems encompasses three designs: Pure, which features a clean, elegant circular opening; Curve, shown here, which incorporates rounded overlapping lines, and Floral, which is covered in symmetrical petals.
The designs are available in round configurations for Schluter’s KERDI-DRAIN point drain, as well as standard 4” point drains, and in 20” to 40” lengths for Schluter’s KERDI-LINE linear drains. They do not contain any visible screw holes, which allows for a seamless appearance. Each grate is made from brush stainless steel, and the interior of the grate assembly is protrusion-free, allowing for easy cleaning. schluter.com
Wayne Dalton
The Model 8450 Luminous garage door is Wayne Dalton’s first all-glass garage door, modeled after the appearance of modern skyscrapers. The door is composed of glass panels on an aluminum frame, with no visible framework on the exterior. The doors are built to order, and are available in five glass finishes – opaque white, opaque black, mirrored gray, mirrored bronze, and translucent black. The door has been tested for performance in extreme temperatures, and its bottom vinyl seal helps prevent breakage and protect against the elements. wayne-dalton.com

ClosetMaid has introduced an assortment of new hardware options for its ExpressShelf system, a pre-finished shelf-and-rod closet shelf system. The new straight H-channels can join two cut shelves for longer shelf runs, and the corner H-channels can join two shelves at right angles. Other new hardware options include corner rounder hanger bars and shelf end caps for open edges. The ExpressShelf system, which debuted in 2017, can be installed directly onto drywall after-paint, without ladders, caulking, or additional painting. closetmaidpro.com

Geberit
The Geberit Concealed Tank and Carrier System is an in-wall system that allows designers and builders to conceal toilet tanks inside the walls of their construction projects, with only a bowl and flush plate visible on the exterior. According to the manufacturer, in-wall systems can be used to conquer design challenges such as aging in place, universal design, or size and space constraints.
The system is compatible with wall-hung and floor-mount toilet bowls from a variety of ceramic manufacturers, and a variety of flush plates are also available. The Sigma Series is available for 2x6 and 2x6 room-height walls, and the Omega Series is available for 2x6 pre-walls. Its dual-flush operates at 0.6/1.8 GPF. geberit.com

Kohler is set to showcase its new Ombre finish, Veil Collection Lighting Suite, and Components line this year at PCBC. The Components line, a new collection of interchangeable faucet elements, allows buyers to create a personalized product with a modern, minimalist design and a polished chrome or matte black finish.
The Ombre finish uses the manufacturer’s proprietary physical vapor deposition (PVD) process to bond the finish and the faucet together at the molecular level. Current color options include rose gold to polished nickel and titanium to rose gold.
The Veil Collection, which features gentle lines and asymmetrical shapes, has added a new Lighting Suite of adjustable lighting fixtures for Veil mirrors, sinks, vanities, baths, and wall-hung intelligent toilets.
