Bosch has introduced a series of “industrial-style” ranges and rangetops to its 800 Series line, created in response to rising consumer interest in professional-style appliances.
The ranges and rangetops are available in 30 and 36-inch sizes, with a stainless steel finish or black stainless steel option for ranges. Both products feature “industrial” aesthetic touches, including die-cast metal, front-control knobs; continuous cast iron grates; and pedestal feet.
“When creating the new line, our goal was to marry the bold, prominent look of professional-style appliances with the modern, sleek Bosch design philosophy,” says Anja Prescher, director of brand marketing at Bosch home appliances. “As a result, the all-new Bosch industrial approach was born, offering a versatile product that fits perfectly into the Bosch family of appliances, while also offering a never-before-seen design option for our consumer.”
Both ranges and rangetops feature the Bosch Dual-Flame ring burner, which uses two flame rings to deliver a wide range of temperature control. The cooktops range from four to six burners, depending on model and size, with two dual-flame burners on the 36-inch rangetop.
The rangetops also feature Bosch’s OptiSim Burner Cap, which provides more precise control at low temperatures for simmering and melting. All cooking grates are dishwasher safe, and the black enamel cooking surface is designed to resist stains and easily wipe clean.
The ranges are available in all-gas or dual-fuel configurations with an electric oven. The range ovens feature layered racks, an integrated meat probe, and a cleaning coating in the oven cavity that burns off soiled surfaces during the cooking process.
