In its first new offering since its recent rebranding, Cosentino’s Silestone introduces five new colors in the Sunlit Days collection, each one inspired by warm tones found in the Mediterranean region. Sunlit Days is Silestone’s first carbon-neutral collection; Cosentino will offset all carbon dioxide emissions for Sunlit Days’ life cycle through offsetting projects with the Voluntary Carbon Market.
The Sunlit Days colors, inspired by nature and man-made structures alike, include:
- Faro White, a pure white with a smooth finish inspired by lighthouses;
- Cincel Gray, a fine-grained surface that balances warm and cool tones;
- Arcilla Red, a bold earthy red tone;
- Cala Blue, a deep color inspired by the sea; and
- Posidonia Green, named after a flowering underwater plant in the Mediterranean.
All five colors are fabricated using Silestone’s new HybriQ+ technology, which uses 99% reused water and 100% renewable electric energy. The surfaces are composed of a mix of minerals and quarts, with a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials and significantly reduced crystalline silica. silestoneusa.com
