Sherwin-Williams has enhanced its Painter’s Edge Interior Latex Flat formulation in seven darker colors pre-selected for builder use.

According to the manufacturer, the Painter’s Edge formulation uses builder-grade vinyl acrylic resin to provide quality hide and touch-up on prepared drywall, plaster, masonry and incidental wood surfaces. The new formulation offers an improved appearance and application process, easier touch-up, and diminishes the look of minor surface defects.

“Popular, darker shades tend to be less forgiving during the application process, resulting in more callbacks for touch-ups,” says Rick Watson, director of product information and technical services at Sherwin-Williams. “As homeowners embrace bolder colors, we have enhanced seven darker colors for Painter’s Edge to help professionals simplify the painting process with fewer call backs, saving them time and money.”

The improved colors include: Botany Beige SW 8913, Desert Fawn SW 8902, Duron Kilim Beige SW 8920, Lulled Beige SW 8914, Agreeable Gray SW 7029, City Loft SW 7631 and Accessible Beige SW 7036. The formulation is also available in egg-shell, high sheen egg-shell, satin semi-gloss and gloss finishes. sherwin-williams.com
