In celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2020, natural quartz surface producer Cambria is introducing 20 new quartz surface designs in its 20th annual design launch. This “20/20/20/20 launch” is the largest in the company’s history, according to the manufacturer, and adds white, gray, and black color tones in both bold and subtle veining styles.

“Cambria has always been committed to setting new standards in the stone industry, with breakthrough innovative styles,” says Summer Kath, EVP of design and business development for Cambria. “The research and development team has grown strong and in our 20th year, we are proud to bring to market 20 new designs that represent years of development.”

Cambria’s new design options include:

  • Clovelly, above, a creamy surface with dramatic copper and brown swooping veins,
  • Smithfield, a soft white with faint veining,
  • Woodcroft, a dark surface with thin gold and metallic streaks,
  • And Brittanicca Block, left, featuring Cambria’s signature Brittanicca design arranged in slim rows.

All designs are available in a matte or high gloss finish with a choice of 19 edge treatments. Most are available in 2 cm. and 3 cm. thicknesses, with the exception of Buxton, available in 1, 2, and 3 cm. thicknesses, and Brittanicca Block, available in 1 and 3 cm thicknesses. All are “producer friendly”, with random veining that allows for higher yields for larger projects.

“While answering to the continued strong demand for white backgrounds, we are making strides in the vast organic and bold veining that Cambria can execute,” Kath says. “We are providing designs that answer to the wide range of application needs beyond the countertop and large surface areas now featuring stone. We also recognize the emergence of grays and black, combined with Cambria’s innovative, organic veining techniques that create depth and clarity resulting in that perfectly imperfect aesthetic that is not available on the market today.” cambriausa.com
