A new siding profile, Artisan Shingle, is coming soon to James Hardie's Aspyre Collection of fiber-cement siding panels. The manufacturer has also expanded the full collection’s availability into HZ5 climate zones, which cover the Northeast, Midwest, Mountains and Canada.

Artisan Shingle, the newest profile of seven in Aspyre’s Artisan Siding, is made to emulate the width, pattern, and color of cedar shingle siding. The panels measure 5/8 inches thick, and are available primed for paint or in James Hardie’s ColorPlus Technology blends, with a two-tone color scheme made to match how paint adheres to cedar siding over time.

Like all Aspyre products, the Artisan Shingle profile is Engineered for Climate, or made to resist the specific conditions of the climate zone it will be sold in. The HZ5 climate zone siding resists wet and freezing conditions, while the HZ10 zone product, available in the southern U.S. and West Coast, resists heat, humidity, and sun exposure.

The full Aspyre Collection includes the Reveal Panel System, a flat-panel cladding system, and Artisan Siding, made to emulate cedar siding in a variety of profiles, including lap siding, flat wall, and trim. jameshardie.com
