MoistureShield has introduced a new line of capped wood composite decking, Elevate, designed for and aimed at the entry level market.
At launch the Elevate line is available in two colors: Lake Fog, a soft gray, and Canoe, a forest brown. The wood composite is manufactured from 95% recycled content, and features a protective cap which shields the boards from impact, corrosion, and harsh weather damage. The manufacturer’s proprietary manufacturing process is also engineered to provide protection against moisture absorption, warping, rotting, and insect damage.
“The Elevate line of decking allows contractors and their customers to affordably upgrade to capped composite wood decking and enjoy all of its benefits,” says Richard Lankester, president of MoistureShield. “Elevate delivers the beauty and durability of capped decking without breaking the bank.”
Elevate’s 5/4 deck boards are available in 12- and 16-foot lengths in grooved profiles for hidden fasteners, as well as 20-foot lengths with a solid edge and fascia boards in 12-foot lengths. It is protected by a limited lifetime structural warranty, as well as a 30-year limited lifetime fade and stain warranty, for residential applications.
The product is launching in select markets with a wider roll-out coming in 2020. moistureshield.com
