LG Electronics USA is expanding its NeON 2 solar module lineup with the LG NeON 2 ACe, a 60-cell solar panel featuring an integrated, LG-manufactured microinverter. This single-unit offering is the second in LG’s history, after the LG NeON R ACe, and provides both a streamlined installation process and a wide array of design options.
The panel offers a power class of up to 365W, 21.1% module efficiency, and 97% microinverter efficiency. The integrated 320W microinverter is recessed into the frame of the panel. Its design utilizes thin, circular wires that create a sleek, minimalist appearance, with no exposed DC connections. This reduces the Balance of System requirements compared with a typical inverter, and reduces the chance for field installation errors, according to the manufacturer.
“With more and more people continuing to work from home, homeowners increasingly are turning to solar as a smart investment that puts their home to work for them, offsetting high utility bills,” says Brian Lynch, head of solar business development at LG Business Solutions USA.
“Our research shows that, when making such a seminal investment, the most important factors to homeowners are brand reputation, warranty, and product variety for different scenarios,” he adds. “LG provides our customers the peace of mind that they’re investing in a product backed by years of experience, manufactured under stringent research and development, and with an industry-leading warranty.”
The panel is covered under a 25-year limited warranty, including workmanship, performance, and a labor reimbursement of up to $450. Purchase includes lifetime access to LG’s EnerVu solar performance platform. lg.com
