BUILDER sister publication Architectural Lighting recently released its 2018 product guide, filled with lighting products of all kinds. Editor Katherine Keane presents a number of new introductions in decorative lighting. Here are a few highlights:
Circus, Innermost • Inspired by Victorian circus tents, this line of wall sconces and pendants is designed by Corinna Warm of Studio Warm in London. With a housing made of spun aluminum, Circus wall is measures 5.9” in diameter and extends 7.5” from the wall. The Circus pendant comes in three sizes—5.9”, 14.1”, and 22” in diameter. Both versions are fitted with 5W 3000K LEDs with a CRI of 80, and have a 150-degree beam angle. Finishes include matte black, grey, and white with antique gold or white interiors, depending on shade color selection. • innermost.net
Branches Linear Chandelier, Kichler • This seven-lamp steel chandelier takes inspiration from the asymmetric patterns found in nature to achieve a branch-like effect. Measuring 23.65” in height by 49.25” in length by 25.25” in width, Branches requires 60W (max.) incandescent lamps and is finished in black paint. kichler.com
BIG LED, Vibia • Designed by Barcelona-based Lievore Altherr Molina, BIG [why caps?] aims to give the impression of a skylight and can be installed directly in a ceiling or as a pendant with a 13’ (max.) drop. Measuring 47.25” in diameter, this luminaire is fitted with an acrylic diffuser and houses six dimmable 24W 3000K LEDs. Available finishes are chrome and white matte lacquer. • vibia.com
