LP Building Solutions is adding a new gun-applied, fast-curing PU collapsible foam adhesive to its LP Legacy Premium Sub-Flooring portfolio. The LP Legacy Premium Sub-Floor Adhesive is made for use with OSB, treated lumber, masonry, decking, and plywood, and designed to defend against squeaks and provide improved bond strength and effectiveness under dry, wet, and frozen surfaces.

The gun-applied adhesive is designed to expand and create a tight seal between sub-floor panels. One 29-ounce can provides up to 12 times the coverage of a typical tube of adhesive for this application, according to the manufacturer. It is VOC-compliant, solvent-free, and meets the ASTM D3498-19a standard for construction adhesives.
