California Faucets has introduced a new line of single-handle tub fillers with a 10 GPM average flow rate, previously only available in two-leg tub filler styles. According to the manufacturer, the new single-handle tub fillers can fill a 42-inch tub in less than four minutes—half the time required for a comparable tub filler—while maintaining a streamlined style.

“There are single-leg tub fillers that are streamlined and contemporary, but practically none that can generate water flow as fast as two-legged tub fillers. We’ve accomplished both,” says Noah Taft, senior vice president of sales and marketing for California Faucets. “Our design and engineering team worked hard to overcome the challenges that make it hard to produce a high flow rate tub filler in a sleeker, thinner, single-handle design.”

The new tub filler features a 9-inch center-to-center spout reach, with a slimmer and less cumbersome design than previous products with the same flow rate, according to the manufacturer. The freestanding, solid brass structure is available in a wide variety of California’s design styles, including the traditional/transitional Hermosa and Palomar series, the contemporary Alisomar, Bolsa, and Morro Bay series, and the industrial Steampunk Bay and Descanso series. Customers can choose from over 28 finishes and specify spout and handle combinations.

Pricing starts at $2,195 for the industrial and contemporary series in polished chrome. californiafaucets.com
