A Saw You Have to See

This new mini saw promises faster, neater, and easier plunge cuts in most materials.

Imagine that you had a fast and dust-free way to cut fiber cement, drywall, and laminate flooring measuring up to 9/16 of an inch. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Newexaktsaw Inc. says the EC330 Mini Saw makes that dream a reality.

Attached to a shop vac, the mini circular saw makes plunge cuts in a variety of materials, but it also will make traditional cuts in concrete, steel rebar, granite, marble, PVC, and aluminum, among many others.

The tool’s adjust feature allows users to dial in cutting depth to suit the job and an “ergo-guard-lock” provides a safe protection against accidental guard compression.

Watch actor Andrew Bernard demonstrate the tool in this video.
