Design & Construction Week is a little later this year, with the International Builders' Show (IBS) and Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) running from February 19-21, 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. For anyone looking to get a head start, here’s a few of the show’s newest products – some of them are already on the market, and others will launch at the show itself.

INOX – Booth SL467
Using a Swiss diode laser, INOX’s new Laser Art option provides personalized engravings on any stainless steel INOX door hardware up to 30 inches across. The laser can reproduce virtually any line art a customer provides within an accuracy of up to 0.001 millimeters, with four engraving options–black, white, color, and copper reveal. The latter process is only available for the oil rubbed bronze finish, and uses laser ablation to carve the specified design out of the black top layer. unisonhardware.com
Ply Gem – Outdoor Exhibit P8
The newly-redesigned casements for Ply Gem’s MIRA aluminum-clad wood windows offer an improved thermal design system, standardized hardware, and a thinner screen design. The new sash cladding gives the window a historic look, and works together with the overall thermal design to create a protective layer against cold air and heat intrusion. MIRA is available with 7/8-inch thick glass as standard, with options for triple-pane insulated glass and four additional new glass options. plygem.com
Lennox – Booth C4942
The SL297NV Ultra Low Emissions Gas Furnace features a heating efficiency rating of 97.5% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency). The unit’s high heat temperature burns away much of its NOx emissions before they are released into the air, allowing it to produce 65% lower NOx emissions than comparable furnaces, according to the manufacturer. Its variable-speed blower motor allows for constant and efficient airflow adjustments, and distributes heat evenly throughout the home. lennox.com
