The Design-Craft cabinetry specified for the Chowa home features a slab front and warm black wood grain finish, forming a contemporary design for “a home with a keen focus on clean lines and balance”, according to the company. Boral Roofing
Boral Roofing’s Saxony 900 Slate concrete roof tile, shown here in a in a dark charcoal blend, is made to evoke roofing design styles found in England, Northern Europe and the East Coast of the U.S. Each tile measures 17 by 13 inches, and a full roof has an approximate installed weight of 950 pounds. The tiles carry a Class A fire rating, and boast high durability against the elements, as well as a long usable life. Daikin
The VRV LIFE Heat Pump System’s inverter-driven exterior unit can support heating, cooling, and temperature adjustments for up to nine ductless and ducted indoor units. The heat pump gathers 75% to 80% of its operating energy from the outside air, and consumes one kilowatt of electricity for every four generated. The Chowa Home’s exterior patio floor features light gray Delegate porcelain pavers from Daltile’s Xteriors collection, which offers a all-weather surfacing products in colors and styles similar to Daltile’s interior products. The Delegate pavers measure two centimeters thick and 20 by 40 inches, and come in a textured finish. All Xteriors porcelain pavers are frost-, fade-, scratch-, and stain-resistant, with a very low water absorption rate and a compressive strength of over 30,000 psi. daltile.com
Delos
The DARWIN Circadian Lighting System is designed to simulate the rhythms of natural lighting indoors, with the aim of improving energy and mood among residents. The system is calibrated to mimic natural light levels in a home’s precise location, but may be adjusted to meet resident preferences using the associated smart device app.

GE Appliances (Monogram)
The Monogram Smart Built-In Oven with Advantium Speedcook Technology is part of the Monogram Minimalist Collection, which features a streamlined design and matched metal. Across all its modes, the wall oven may be used as a convection oven, toaster oven, warming/proofing oven, precision cook oven or microwave. The Speedcook system incorporates halogen lamps to heat food within minutes with no preheating required, with up to 175 precision cooking menu selections.

The Instinct switch serves as both a Wi-Fi enabled smart light switch and a full-fledged Amazon Alexa smart hub. Homeowners can utilize voice commands to control any Alexa-enabled smart device in the home through Instinct, including any other iDevices product. The Halo Wi-Fi Enabled Smart Lock, available in touchscreen or keypad models, uses the home’s Wi-Fi to enable remote access, monitoring, and control. Using the Kwikset smart device app, homeowners can remotely lock or unlock all connected Halo Smart Locks, generate up to 250 user codes, manage access by guest users, and remotely monitor lock status.
