KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Thursday announced the grand opening of a new residential community in Rosenberg, Texas called Bryan Crossing.

“KB Home offers a variety of new-home communities in the Houston area,” said Brett Dietz, president of KB Home’s Houston division. “As with all of our communities, Bryan Crossing is focused on giving home shoppers the opportunity to purchase a new, personalized KB home in a desirable neighborhood at a price that fits their needs.”

Bryan Crossing’s commuter-friendly location is close to Interstate 69, Grand Parkway 99, Beltway 8 and Highway 6; offering easy access to job centers like Sugar Land Industrial Park, Westchase, Galleria, Texas Medical Center and downtown Houston. In addition, the community’s popular Rosenberg location is near numerous entertainment venues, including Smart Financial Centre, Typhoon Texas Waterpark, Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center and Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land.

The community offers 12 floor plans with up to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths and ranging in size from approximately 1,500 to 3,100 square feet. These new homes feature desirable design characteristics like great rooms, storage space and designer kitchens, and pricing begins in the $180,000s. The community is situated within the recognized Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, and future community amenities include a park and playground.

All homes built surpass ENERGY STAR® certification standards, meaning the homes have substantially lower monthly utility costs when compared to typical resale homes.
