Ground has been broken for Highland Crossing, a ranch estate project offering 58 one-acre home sites just outside the City of Celina, TX.

HSM Highland Crossing, LP, a partnership created and managed by Steve Donosky, President of HSM Dalcon, Inc., purchased the 69-acre property that is located on County Road 132 just north of the County Road 106 intersection and approximately two miles east of Preston Road. Andy McAnally of Taylor Realty Associates of North Texas represented the seller, David Powell of Longview, TX, and Jim Breitenfeld, Vice President of the Office and Industrial Division of Henry S. Miller Brokerage, represented the buyer.

“We anticipate Highland Crossing will be a very successful project for several reasons,” Donosky said. “First, there is a shortage of acreage lots in Celina. Second, lots in Prosper are much more expensive, and third, many buyers are looking for affordable larger properties in the Celina area, and the communities with remaining acreage lots are out of inventory. We expect to sell-out in two to three years with Our Country Homes offering custom homes at affordable prices.”

Lots are scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2018, and homes by Our Country Homes will be available for the 2019 spring selling season.

Features of Highland Crossing include:

  • Homes in the $450,000 to $550,000 price range
  • Large open lots with plenty of space for outdoor living and gardening
  • Underground utilities and manicured streetscapes
  • No city taxes
  • Quick access to Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway
  • Nearby grocery and retail shopping areas, medical care and hospitals, parks and recreation
  • Education in the Celina Independent School District
