Elevate Homes, a new brand concept from Dan Ryan Builders, will hold an "invitation only" opening at Forge Creek at Flowers Plantation, what it bills as a new approach to the active adult market, in Johnston County, N.C. on May 20.

Located in the Flowers Plantation master plan, Forge Creek offers a variety of floor plans and amenities aimed at meeting the lifestyle needs of energetic adults. Elevate Homes’ offerings at Forge Creek include more functional indoor and outdoor spaces, accommodations for pets, outdoor privacy, modern casual interiors and “Elevate rooms,” versatile spaces that can be configured to meet an array of lifestyles needs. Additionally, the community differentiates itself with a Fit Park allowing residents and guests to socialize, work, pamper their pets or exercise and access to Flowers Plantation’s renowned clubhouse, pool, fitness center, spa and other amenities.

Elevate's Adventurer model starts at $264,990.

“Through extensive research, we found younger Boomers tend to remodel their existing homes instead of moving into a traditional large village-style age-restricted community,” said Char Kurihara, vp of branding for Dan Ryan Builders. The goal of Elevate Homes’ Forge Creek is to provide a community that doesn’t force people to give up the things that are important to them - their social and environmental activities, their fitness and health options and the ability to still work - while regaining time and money by reducing home maintenance and living costs.”

According to Kurihara, Forge Creek’s homes’ higher construction and aesthetic standards – such as 2”x 6” studs on exterior walls (as opposed to 2”x 4”s), 10-foot ceilings and eight-foot doors - and the communities’ prime Clayton, N.C. location – close to the planned 540, Novo Nordisk and 25 minutes from downtown Raleigh – add additional value to adults wanting to maintain their active lifestyles.

Designed by Deryl Patterson of Housing Design Matters and Scott Gardner of GMD architects, each floor plan in Forge Creek will have a two-car garage, two baths, two bedrooms and a flex room for versatility, and all offer bonus rooms with additional bed, bath and wet bar options.

Elevate Homes is providing those interested in downsizing an “invitation only” preview at Forge Creek from 2 - 8 p.m., Sunday, May 20. The event will feature bites from Royale, craft beer provided by Oak and Dagger, wine from The Wine Feed, upscale food trucks and live music by The Party Crashers. RSVPs must be provided for entry to Peyton Davidson by May 14.
