PulteGroup has announced its plans for a new Del Webb active-adult neighborhood at the Viera master-planned community, Del Webb at Viera, set to begin preselling single-family and villa homes in mid-2022. This community will mark PulteGroup’s first community in Florida’s Space Coast in almost two decades and its first-ever active-adult community in the area.
The private, gated community plan calls for approximately 1,300 homes across 500 acres. “The vibrant and well-established community of Viera is the perfect location for Pulte to build homes on the Space Coast,” says Clint Ball, PulteGroup’s Central Florida division president. “As Brevard County continues to grow, we look forward to continue expanding our presence in the region with homes and communities inspired by the needs of current and future Space Coast residents.”
According to the builder, Del Webb at Viera will include coastal and Caribbean influences in its design, including tropical landscaping and water views throughout. The 10-acre amenity complex will include a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, a resort-style pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a community garden, walking and biking trails, an event lawn, dog parks, a fitness center, and a barefoot bar with food and beverage service.
Residents will also have access to attractions in the greater Viera community, including nature trails and conservation areas, Brevard Zoo, the Avenue Viera outdoor lifestyle center, and the USSSA Space Coast Complex. Health and wellness centers, multiple I-95 access points, three international airports, and the cruise hub at Port Canaveral are also located within driving distance.
