Parkland Residential, the new home building affiliate of Parkland Communities, has started construction on the first two buildings at Parkland Springs, an upcoming build-to-rent townhome community in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The community’s site development is complete, and it will include 58 townhomes and an abundance of park space on completion.
The rear entry stacked townhomes range from two to three bedrooms and 1,630 to 1,950 square feet in size, with monthly rents ranging from $1,900 to $2,200 per month. All homes feature a large owner’s suite with a walk-in closet, dual-vanity bathrooms, and a one-car garage. The kitchens open to oversized family rooms, as well as covered outdoor living areas.
The community is designed to meet the needs of the “missing middle” market, according to the builder. “All rentals do not need to be apartments. I realized offering build-to-rent communities like Parkland Springs in exceptional locations would provide a solution to the missing middle housing problem,” says Parkland Residential president Jim Jacobi. “Renters in this community are going to enjoy a fantastic location with trendy restaurants, retail, and the best schools nearby.”
