There’s much to appreciate about Georgetown, that much-coveted, old growth neighborhood in northwest Washington D.C. that is home to – among other things – much hullabaloo during March Madness, not to mention the creepy steps featured in the movie “The Exorcist.” Basketball and horror film landmarks notwithstanding, its walkable streets are also known to hold some of the nation’s finest specimens of colonial, Victorian, and Italianate architecture.
