ESCAPE Homes, a builder of travel-ready tiny RV homes and Park Homes, has introduced its first fully-insulated shipping container home.

The ESCAPE Vista C model is built in a standard ISO shipping container, measures 20 feet by 8 feet, and has an optional rooftop terrace that spans the width of the home, a wooden, motorized drop-down deck, off-grid setup and a trailer for easy towing. The tiny home can sleep two residents and features a bedroom/living area with daybed and storage, a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, range, deep stainless steel sink, tall storage cabinets and butcher block countertops. The bathroom features a full size shower, sink and Toto toilet.

The homes use closed cell foam insulation, Low-E, thermopane windows, and a high performance A/C heat pump for energy performance. The home uses low power, and the water, power and utility hook-ups take just minutes, making the home easy for travel.

The home is available in multiple exterior colors with the option of cedar exterior detailing, and can also come with a keyless lock system, a pop-up flat screen TV, and multiple steel doors and panels that can secure the entire building.

The company says the homes can be shipped anywhere in the world, and can operate as a travel home or be situated permanently on a foundation.
