Pardee Homes' Los Angeles division has come up with a unique way to showcase its home's high-tech features.
Four new videos showcase the company's price-included technologies that are aimed at making life easier in the Arista neighborhood in Santa Clarita, California. They were created to demonstrate Pardee's HomeSmart technologies in an upbeat, entertaining way, says Dave Little, president of Pardee Homes Los Angeles Ventura.
HomeSmart is a suite of technology and automation features that harness internet-connected devices to enhance homeowner comfort and security. It is the newest addition to LivingSmart, a multifaceted program Pardee launched in 2001 to advance higher performance homes and to conserve natural resources. LivingSmart is integrated throughout the six builder brands that comprise the TRI Pointe Group, of which Pardee Homes is a member.
"Managing many household tasks is as easy as issuing a voice command, whether you're at home or away," says Lyndsay Fuller, sales and marketing director for Pardee Homes LA Ventura. Pardee turned to Amazon and Samsung to craft the HomeSmart package for Arista. Voice-activated features include garage door openers, front door locks, thermostats--and a smart doorbell that shows you who just arrived. Also standard are LED lighting and USB 4 Ports for kitchens and bedrooms.
Pardee's HomeSmart can integrate with multiple platforms and enhancements as new products come to market. "The shared goal was to identify useful, real-world features with staying power," says Little. "A DIY-centric package makes it easy for Aliento homeowners to turn directly to brand suppliers for additional features, and augment the base as they desire."
