Azure Magazine’s Design Awards

1 MIN READ

Azure, the Canadian design magazine, revealed its design awards winners a few weeks ago. Take a look at their list of winners and finalists here— it’s a very strong group. There’s a bit of overlap with the residential architect design awards, with Julie Snow’s weekend house and David Jameson’s Record House Revisited both garnering finalist status. Other projects of note in the competition include Patkau Architects’ Linear House (the residential buildings category winner), Teeple Architects’ 60 Richmond East, and Marlon Blackwell’s Porchdog House. In the Commercial Interiors category, Aidlin Darling Design was a finalist for Bar Agricole in San Francisco, which I believe takes up the ground floor of the offices of Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders. The 14 jury-selected winners and 8 People’s Choice Award winners are showcased in an exhibition at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, now through September 25.
