Tackling the needs of both move-up and relo buyers can be a challenge. Will out-of-towners want the same upscale features as locals? Pardee Homes proved up to the test at Crescendo at Seven Hills.
The Puccini model, named after the famous composer, was one of three products that focused on the diverse needs of this growing market. Its offerings include spaces ample for entertaining, bonus areas for lofts, kids' study, or relaxation, and a rambling 3,068 square feet of living space that feels far larger. Families, working couples, empty-nesters, and singles all flocked to the plan.
Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing, sees the unified living zones on the first floor as an answer to buyers' demand for informality. "We joined the den, dining, and living areas to enhance the horizontal expanse of the first floor," she says. "Buyers also respond well to the compartmentalized master bath and more privacy." Secondary bathrooms upstairs in a Jack-and-Jill concept optimize space while ensuring privacy. A fourth bedroom is popular as an in-law suite, home office, or guest room.
