Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi Power Tools) has introduced a 10-inch Table Saw (model C3610DRJQ4, shown in center) to its new MultiVolt power tool platform, which supports corded and cordless operation in a single tool.

Depending on the needs of the job, users can run the table saw on Metabo HPT’s 36V MultiVolt battery or plug it into the wall using the MultiVolt AC Adapter. The 36V battery supplies 4.0 amp-hours of runtime on a full charge, and the AC Adapter may be used with long extension cords or from a generator with little to no power loss.

The C3610DRJQ4 table saw runs on a 36DV brushless motor with a soft start function to reduce noise and recoil. Its working table measures 28 3/4 by 22 inches, with a 28 3/4 by 2-inch out-feed support. It has a 35-inch rip capacity when the extension is set up on the right, and 22-inch capacity when it is set up on the left.

The blade can bevel between 0 and 45 degrees, depending on the depth of the cut, with scale and height adjustment knobs at the front of the cabinet. The 3/4-inch T-slot miter gauge includes adjustable positive stops at 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 degrees. Additional features include an electric brake, overload protection, a riving knife to keep material in position, onboard storage for accessories, and a dust port at the rear of the cabinet.

The bare tool comes packaged with a 10-inch, 40-tooth carbide tipped blade and blade guard assembly, anti-kickback pawl and miter gauge assemblies, push stick, rip fence and out-feed support assembly, two blade wrenches, a 4mm hex bar wrench and a 2.5 mm hex key. The 36V battery, AC adapter, and a battery/charger starter kit are all sold separately. metabo-hpt.com
