Bosch Power Tools has added two new self-leveling lasers to its product lineup: the Bosch GLL100-40G Green Beam Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser and the Bosch GCL100-40G Green Beam Self-Leveling Combination Laser with Plumb Points.

Both of the new tools use a green beam laser, emitting lines and points that are four times brighter and more visible to the human eye than a standard red laser, including in direct sunlight, according to the manufacturer. The tool is designed to monitor its own temperature and power consumption as it operates, in order to deliver optimal line visibility and brightness while maximizing the battery life and preventing overheating. Both tools are IP64 rated to prevent rain and dust penetration, and equipped with a full overmold rubber housing to protect impact points.

“After months of market research and hands-on input from trade professionals, the new Bosch cross-line lasers are brighter, smarter, and tougher than leading competitors,” says Brandon Eble, group product manager at Robert Bosch Tool Corp. “Next-level durability and green-line visibility coupled with technology that gives several more hours of on-the-job battery life make these lasers a must-have tool for any worksite.”

The tools are able to project horizontally, vertically, or in a cross-line mode for accuracy. The GLL100-40G includes a rugged mounting bracket with extra strong magnets for quick setup, while the GCL100-40G offers upward and downward plumb points and a rotating mount for fine adjustments.

The lasers are currently available at the Home Depot and other Bosch industrial channels. boschusa.com
