Legend Valve has introduced a new line of high-performance stainless steel plumbing fittings designed specifically for jobsites facing aggressive water conditions.
In regions with acidic, chlorinated, or high-chloride water, including coastal markets and municipalities with heavy chemical treatment, brass fittings are vulnerable to dezincification, leading to wall thinning, buildup, and premature failure. Legend’s stainless-steel fittings eliminate those risks, offering corrosion resistance that’s built to last for the life of the system.
The fittings are compatible with copper crimp, stainless steel cinch, and cold expansion systems, allowing contractors to upgrade material performance without new tools or installation methods.
With copper prices continuing to fluctuate, stainless steel has become a more cost-stable alternative to brass. Legend positions the line as a high-end, professional solution that can be price-competitive—or even more economical—than brass, while delivering long-term durability and a premium finish.
Product range includes:
- Core connectors: Pipe nipples, couplings, unions
- Directional fittings: 45° and 90° elbows, street elbows, tees, crosses
- Adapters & reducers: Hex bushings, reducing couplings, half couplings
- Plugs & caps: Square head and hex plugs, caps, locknuts
Legend’s stainless-steel fittings are naturally lead-free, third-party certified, and compliant with ISO 2604-2 standards, making them suitable for high-pressure potable water systems where long-term reliability is critical.
