Navien is introducing two new series of tankless water heaters, NPN and NPE-2, along with the new NCB-H of condensing combi boilers. Each series is equipped with new features and upgrades from previous editions of the product, including usability and energy efficiency improvements.
The non-condensing NPN series is available in two sub-series – the NPN-Universal, which can be placed indoors or outdoors, and the NPN-Exterior, which is outdoor only. The boilers’ stainless-steel heat exchanger and stainless-steel burner that operate at the same very low NOx level as the NPE series. Both products include built-in recirculation control, an air pressure sensor, and a water adjustment valve and mixing valve.
The NPE-2 condensing water heater is also available in two sub-series – the NPE-AS and NPE-S2. Both feature a turndown ratio up to 15:1, an upgraded multi-line control panel, and an expanded 2-inch PVC venting length. Like the NPE before it, the NPE-2 will offer dual stainless steel heat exchanger, up to 0.97 UEF efficiency, cascade and common vent capability, and, on the NPE-A2, Navien’s ComfortFlow recirculation system with a built in pump and buffer tank.
The NCB-H (high output) condensing combi-boiler series also features a 15:1 turndown ratio, along with an improved BTU lineup, greater DHW performance, and built-in controls for up to three zones. Like the NPE-2, it features a multi-line text display and 2-inch PVC venting length. navieninc.com
