Savaria Corp. has added a new, compact option to its line of Vuelift home elevators—the Vuelift Mini, composed of a cylindrical glass hoistway and compact 50-inch footprint designed for flexibility in floor plan placement.
According to the manufacturer, the elevator’s integrated hoistway is made for easy contractor installation, and its clear glass silhouette is designed not to conflict with existing interior design styles, color, light, or texture. The fixture can be installed inside a spiral staircase, attached to a balcony or mezzanine, or inserted through floors.

The Vuelift Mini is available in either clear acrylic or UV-resistant glass, with a matching cab and landing doors. The frame is available in black as standard, with white, silver, or custom colors available as optional features. It can be configured for up to six stops and 50 feet of travel, and features a winding drum drive system with a 500-pound capacity, quiet operation, and battery backup lowering in the case of a power outage.
