Italian home automation provider Nice Group has debuted four new smart-home system products and solutions, including the Yubii smart-home ecosystem, at CES 2020.

“Smart-home automation is expected to continue exponential growth in 2020 and beyond,” says Luca Longhin, president of Nice North America. “With the launch of these new products, Nice North America is now uniquely positioned to offer a full ecosystem of home automation solutions specifically designed for the region, taking users from the gate to the door and throughout the smart home while also providing safety and piece-of-mind through monitored alarm systems. All controlled from the palm of your hand.”

The Yubii Smart Home Automation Ecosystem provides direct access control for lighting, shutters, blinds, awnings, garage doors and gates through the MyNice smartphone app, which may be integrated with Google Home and Amazon Alexa systems. The system is run through the Nice Core hub, a WiFi connected control system with bidirectional protocol and mesh technology, which enables Nice products to interact with each other and allows users to create custom settings. Also included in the system are the Nice Era One BiDi, a handheld remote control for gates and garage doors, and the Nice Era P BiDi, a handheld control for awnings, blinds and rolling shutters.

The Nice Spy system, a traveling motor for sectional up-and-over garage doors, integrates with and travels over existing rails. It does not require chains or other noisy apparatus, and includes an obstacle detection and entrapment avoidance system. It may be controlled either via wall-mounted unit, Nice Era remote control, as well as a smart connection.

The Era Inn, a system for managing indoor blinds, incorporates a soft start and stop function, smart blinds alignment under any load, and an obstacle detection function to stop movement if an object or person is detected. The Era One LR bidirectional transmitter, made for automated gate and garage door control, can send commands at a distance of up to .62 miles.

All four products and systems are set to launch in North America in 2020. niceforyou.com
