Flo Technologies has introduced a new reimbursement program, HomeProtect, which is available as a subscription service for homeowners with Flo water leak prevention devices installed in their homes. According to Flo Technologies, if HomeProtect subscribers suffer major water damage in their homes, the program will reimburse its customer for up to $2,500 of an out-of-pocket homeowner’s insurance deductible.

The HomeProtect program, available to Flo users for $5 per month, also includes proactive water monitoring by Flo’s support team, live chat support, an extended three-year warranty on the Flo system, and access to enhanced analysis and information about the home’s water usage, among other benefits.

HomeProtect’s features are offered in addition to the Flo device, which uses machine learning techniques to alert homeowners to abnormalities in their water systems via connected smart devices, such as leaks.
