HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams has unveiled a new and improved edition of its Everlast Exterior Paint & Primer. The series now includes the manufacturer’s Water Beading Technology, which repels water from paint with the intention of preventing moisture damage to the home, according to the manufacturer.
The paint can be applied in temperatures as low as 35 or as high as 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It is “rain-ready” within an hour, adheres to chalky, glossy, or unprimed surfaces, and "flexes" to match changing temperatures and seasons in order to prevent cracking or blistering.
"Homeowners committed to outdoor painting projects, especially large projects such as the exterior of their homes, want to know that the time invested will pay off," says Bobby Mikula, product marketing manager for HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams. "We kept that in mind when improving Everlast Exterior Paint & Primer, which now includes innovative Water Beading Technology. Everlast's all-weather protection provides a durable finish that resists cracking, peeling, or blistering so homeowners can make their home more than they dreamed it could be."
The Everlast Exterior Paint & Primer is available at Lowe’s in a flat, satin, or semi-gloss finish, with prices ranging from $47.98 to $51.98 per gallon. sherwin.com
