Cambria has joined forces with Gensler, an integrated architecture, design, planning, and consulting firm, to develop The Coordinates Collection by Cambria, available this month. The new collection of 14 quartz designs is made for commercial and residential use, and designed around colors from the Natural Colour System, a scientifically based color system that provides cross-industrial color communication in design applications.

The designs are united by six different NCS colors—two shades of white, one shade of black, and light, medium, and dark charcoal gray—which allow each one to stand alone or match and coordinate with another quartz slab from the same collection.

“We are thrilled to work with the Gensler team on this first-of-its-kind product and are honored they chose Cambria as a surface partner for this collaboration,” says Summer Kath, executive vice president of product development for Cambria. “What we built together truly reflects the talent that Gensler cultivates, and we cannot wait to meaningfully expand our footprint within the architecture and design communities.”

Each of the surface designs is named after a location in the U.S., as well as the location’s defining characteristic, including: Salt Lake, Minnesota Snow, Foggy City, Big Sur Mist, White Plains, Sanibel Shoreline, Vail Village, Pikes Peak, Chicago Tower, Seattle Rain, Montana Midnight, Mammoth Cave, Black Rock, and Kentucky Coal. Design textures include concrete, terrazzo, and organic veining.

Each design is available as in a Cambria matte or high-gloss finish, as well as a variety of edge profiles. Formats include a jumbo slab (132 by 65.5 inches) and wall and floor tiles in various sizes. Slabs are available in 1-, 2-, and 3-centimeter thicknesses. In a demonstration of Cambria’s commitment to sustainability, the Big Sur Mist and Sanibel Shoreline designs incorporate pre-consumer recycled content certified by SCS Global Services. cambriausa.com
