DriTac Flooring Products has introduced a line of eco-friendly, acoustical abatement underlayments for residential and commercial flooring applications. The 8301 Impact 1mm can be used for resilient flooring such as carpet tile and luxury vinyl tile, while the 8302 Double Impact 2mm is suitable for wood and laminate.

Hypo-allergenic and low-VOC, the flooring underlayments resist mold, mildew, and bacteria growth and exceed all standards for indoor air quality, according to the company. The lip and tape versions include a seam system that forms a vapor barrier between two pieces of underlayment. Non-lip and tape versions are also available.

The lightweight flooring underlayments are equipped with DriTac’s Total Sound Reduction System (SRS), a dual-force, silent-fuse technology offering advanced acoustical abatement properties. The anti-crush SRS technology both cushions and quiets footfall, and is covered by a lifetime warranty when used with approved DriTac adhesives in “double-stick” applications.

DriTac’s Impact and Double Impact underlayments are approved for radiant floors and can cover minor floor irregularities, the company says.
