Good and Bad for Remodelers in Latest Joint Center Housing Report

The Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University says, in its “State of the Nation’s Housing 2012” report, that “Starting in the first quarter of 2011, home construction and improvement spending have made a positive contribution to GDP in four out of five quarters,” and that the “Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity (LIRA) points to a resumption of spending growth in the second half of 2012.” That’s some good news.
