When Builder Homesite and eBay Real Estate recently announced they would hold a series of online home auctions, the Concord, Calif., iBidCo, which specializes in online and live new-home sales events, was conspicuously absent, even though iBidCo had business relationships with the two parties. However, iBidCo has now been let in on the deal. It will offer live-auction services to builders. Company president Chris Albrick was to begin visiting Builder Homesite consortium members in August to promote the service.
