This weekend, home builders in California will get dressed up like their favorite celebrities--for a good cause.
The 2017 Celebrity Waiter Event hosted by the California Homebuilding Foundation (CHF) and the BIA of Southern California (BIASC) will be held March 10 in Costa Mesa, Calif. The yearly event is a zany fundraising dinner featuring local building industry “celebrities." Waiters dressed as their favorite celebs choose an entertainment theme for their evening attire and table decorations, while guests join in the fun. The objective of each waiter is to collect the highest amount of fake money "tips" by entertaining their guests for the honor of winning the "Most Appreciated Waiter" award.
With the theme of "That's Entertainment," guests are requested to come dressed as their favorite music, TV or big screen celebrity to enjoy cocktails, auctions, and live music. The event--one of the networking highlights of the year for local builders--benefits CHF's mission and programs.
