Have we got a great deal for you! For the first time in the 66-year history of the International Builders’ Show (IBS), the NAHB is offering association members complimentary exhibit registration to the show, which will be held in Las Vegas from Jan. 19–22, 2010.
The free registration includes admission to the exhibit floor all four days of the show plus access to the opening ceremonies, the daily keynote speakers, and a tour of The New American Home.
Best of all, there are no outrageous conditions for taking advantage of this exclusive offer. You don’t have to write a catchy tune or join the cast of a reality TV show. You just have to be an NAHB member, and you must register by Dec. 11. That’s it.
The free, exhibit-only registration is just one of several IBS attendance options that the NAHB has developed to meet attendees’ varied needs.
Full registration, which includes access to all educational programs, events, and the exhibit floor is $295 for members who register by Jan. 18; for first-time attendees who are NAHB members, full registration is $100.
We also have options for members who want to divide their time between educational programs and the exhibit floor: a one-day education pass with four-day exhibit registration costs $100 if you register by Jan. 18; a two-day education pass with four-day exhibit registration costs $200, and again you must register by Jan. 18.
Moreover, spouses may register at no additional charge. For every type of registration—whether it’s full show, exhibit floor only, or one of our other options—spouses receive the same registration for free.
Non-member fees for each type of registration are somewhat higher, but still a great value, and again, spouses receive complimentary registration.
No matter which registration option you choose, I can promise that attending the IBS will be one of the best business decisions that you make this year.
Despite the industry slowdown, the IBS is by far the nation’s largest light-construction show and is our industry’s premier educational venue. We have scheduled more than 175 educational programs on every housing-related subject from finance to design trends to help you and your business thrive. Likewise, the enormous array of products displayed on the exhibit floor will help you identify the products and services that are a perfect match for your buyers.
The educational programs and exhibit floor may be the heart of the IBS, but it certainly offers many other attractions. One of the most popular is The New American Home, which is sponsored by the National Council of the Housing Industry, the leading suppliers of the NAHB, and Builder.
The New American Home 2010 is shaping up to be a model of innovation in energy and resource efficiency. It is being built to the NAHB’s Green Building Standard and will meet the requirements of the federal Energy Star program.
Among the other attractions at the IBS are daily keynote speakers, numerous networking opportunities, and grand-opening ceremonies that will get the show off to a spectacular start.
The NAHB has always offered early bird registration deals, but for 2010, the savings are the best ever. You can register online and learn everything you need to know at www.BuildersShow.com.
It’s going to be a grand event, and I’m looking forward to welcoming each of you to the show in Las Vegas in January!
